A few weeks ago I saw an advertisement for Buy One Get One Free Scentsy Buddies and decided I wanted to order one for a Christmas gift for one of the world’s most precious baby girls. Somehow I went from wanting 2 Scentsy Buddies to hosting a party! Just a virtual party but still … a party! I am so not a good salesperson, and I really don’t care that much about the hostess gifts, but I would like to do a good job for the Scentsy consultant who is a young mama trying to eliminate debt. I have actually managed to not get up close and personal with Scentsy until now. Allergies make me very afraid. But Tabby packed up a fun little variety of samples for me to share with locals and I am VERY impressed! Maybe I SHOULD care about those hostess gifts because I have a feeling I could go overboard on these products! I tend to have pretty bad allergic reactions to florals so I’m avoiding those but the following scents are going to find their way onto my shopping list!
- Festival of Trees – White Cedar and Musk with a whisper of Citrus
- Christmas Cottage – Valencia Orange with Raspberries, Cloves and Spices
- Autumn Sunset – Apples, Pumpkins, Fall Leaves and Spices
- Cinnamon Vanilla
- Apple Press – very clean light scent
And then there are the warmers – Oh My! I would like to buy:
Nativity & Castille / Silhouette Collection – for my mantel (Christmas and Everyday)
Flutterby – for my home office
DoodleBud – for my bedroom
Rooster – for my kitchen
Faith, Hope & Charity – because how am I going to choose just ONE?

I would have to do the frog with the lavender scent. Love frogs because of my grandma, and lavender is the only scent besides vanilla that doesn’t set me off!

What’s expendable cash? Kidding! I told hubby today that I was sad because Allume was the BEST conference and I can’t go this year. Going to try to make it work next year but I’m a little dubious because I’m also planning, tentatively, to attend Blissdom and BlogHer. Praying for bountiful blessings, and great reports, from Allume. Have fun!

Cinnamon is the fragrance that I most often use at home (Glade, etc.) usually combined with Apple. There were several pleasant Cinnamon based scents in the Scentsy catalog. If you win I’ll try to describe them for you so you can choose one. And I agree … the miracle collection is very pretty though I don’t see a whole lot of difference in the 3 designs.

Lenny the Lamb wins out! As far as scents… Skinny Dippin has become my family fave, but I may have to go minty in this lamb with Eskimo Kiss!
Isn’t he just precious? I don’t think Skinny Dippin was in the samples she sent me. I know Eskimo Kiss was but I’m not sure I sniffed it. =)

Oh my goodness, that Wellington Duck is so so cute. And since I still go with a real tree, which we chop down ourselves at a tree farm, I am definitely going to choose the Festival of Trees scent pak. Love the scent of a real tree.
Some of those scent paks would make great gifts for when you need a hostess, or teacher gift. will have to check out the site.

We always had a real tree when I was a kid and I was determined to continue that tradition as an adult. We did … until the year that we had TWO trees mold during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas! Nothing like having to take all the ornaments of a tree, while trying not to inhale, and then put them on another one, before Christmas! And moldy trees do not smell good!

For a scent pack, I can’t do anything flowery…but autumn scents are usually a good fit for me.

There was one called Cinnamon and Clove that I really liked. Spicy scents tend to work best for me and I LOVE Cinnamon!

Ollie is the one that I had picked to send to a friend’s daughter for Christmas. I’m really excited about the Festival of Trees scent. We can’t do a live tree because of allergies, and they just aren’t the same in Tulsa where it’s frequently 70 degrees throughout the Christmas season! I’ve tried a number of sprays and plug ins but never found one I REALLY like. Hoping that Scentsy is the answer.

I think I’d go with Lenny the Lamb. With either Jut Breathe, Be Still or Newborn Nursery, I think.

I would pick the elephant buddy, and there are so many scents that I love it’s hard to choose. Strawberry is one of my faves, but I think the Cinnamon Vanilla would be great for the holidays!

My favorite scentsy product is the medium size warmers. I wish I had one for each room in my home!
I think I’m going to work on my collection. I’ve spent more money than I care to recall on cheap candles and air fresheners. Probably best to just move on over to Scentsy.

I don’t use any scented products at home, because Mr.4444 is allergic to so many and doesn’t appreciate them, but I do have a Scentsy burner at school, and my students seem to like it, especially when I burn homey food scents. Go figure
